Upgrade your old D-LINK Share Center DNS 320 NAS to a nesting box

It's an absolute nightmare. After it became known in recent weeks that two security vulnerabilities threaten various D-LINK NAS systems, there is only one way out: switch off the devices. I still had a DNS 320 running on the local network. I was well aware that there had been no updates for years. But even for the local LAN, this is now too dangerous. Unfortunately, there are also no suitable alternative operating systems.

I have therefore decided to upgrade the NAS to a nesting box. This is the final firmware update.

I really wish that Iot devices were supplied with updates for longer. Because technically they are often still functional. I hate this kind of waste. May it be a good home.
